Daffodil to establish IT Institute with Joint Investment of Japan

DJIT (560 x 300)A joint venture agreement between Daffodil Group and BBP Advisory Limited (Japan) was signed on September 15, 2013 at the board room of Daffodil Group, says a press release.
Md. Sabbir Ahmed Polash, Director, Daffodil Group and Toru Okazaki, Managing Director of BBP Advisory Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under this agreement BBP Advisory Limited and Daffodil Group will establish an international standard high- quality IT engineering institute in Bangladesh. The institute is planning to train up the students in world class standard and provides jobs in world’s IT sector including Japan. Former Vice President of Google Norio Murakami, Shigeo Kizaki, Former Partner of IBM Consulting and Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Group are the Board of Directors of the proposed Daffodil Japan Institute of Technology.
The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Group, Professor Dr. M Mizanur Rahman, Acting Vice-Chancellor and Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Registrar of Daffodil International University, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Executive Director, Daffodil Education Network and other high officials of Daffodil Group. It is hoped that the institute will go in operation at the end of this year.
