TBT REPORT : On February 24, 2025, the Department of Oceanography, University of Dhaka, organized for the first time the Inter-Departmental Indoor Sports Tournament 2025.
As part of the program, there were six interesting games for students and teachers separately, and in some games the teachers played along with the students. The games were badminton, chess, Ludo, Uno, table tennis, and dart throwing.
The indoor sports tournament started at 9.00 in the morning and continues throughout the day. Prize distribution started at 4.30 in the evening. The current chairman of the department, Dr. Abu Hena Muhammad Yousuf; Professor Dr. Md. Jobaer Alam; Assistant Proctor Dr. K. M. Azam Chowdhury; and departmental teacher Alif Mohammad Khan were present during the prize-giving ceremony.
Such events were held to make teachers and students relationships friendly and respectful.
