TBT Report: On the occasion of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2022, Disaster Research Training and Management Centre (DRTMC) and Department of Geography and Environment, University of Dhaka jointly organized a rally and released balloon at the premises of Kazi Motahar Hossain Building of the University yesterday.

After the rally Professor Nasreen Rafiq, Chairperson of the department of Geography and Environment delivered a speech on the importance of the Day and various disaster issues including early warning system of disasters. Professor Dr. M. Shahidul Islam, Director of Disaster Research Training and Management Centre (DRTMC) also spoke on the occasion.

Former Chairman of Soil, Water & Environment Department Professor Dr. Sirajul Hoque, Teachers and students of the Department of Geography and Environment were present in the program.
