The Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR) of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) held its Supervisor-Researcher Meet on 05 August 2023 at Bijoy Auditorium. The aim of the conference was to introduce the newly admitted MPhil and PhD fellows with their supervisors and to finalize the research titles of MPhil and PhD researchers.

Respected VC of BUP Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, PhD graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Dean, CHSR, Brigadier General Monzurul Alam, BSP, PBGM, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil moderated the programme.

In the current academic year (2022-2023), 56 participants, including MPhil researchers and PhD researchers and their supervisors and co-supervisors, participated in the programme.

The Honorable Chief Guest welcomed the researchers and supervisors at the beginning of his speech. He stated that acquiring new knowledge and enriching the existing knowledge can be done through research on various subjects. The Chief Guest urged the researchers to complete the research work within the stipulated time.  He specifically requested the supervisors to guide the researchers properly to conduct time-viable research for achiving the objective. He called upon the researchers to follow the research protocols in all respects. Besides, he explicitly mentioned that research to be done systematically to create new knowledge for the betterment of the institution, society, as well as the whole nation. 

Among others, Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain, renowned academicians of well-reputed universities and prominent professionals (as Supervisors) and other High Officials of BUP were also present in the programme.
