YSSE to host “Bangladesh Youth Symposium-2018” in BUET

Youth School for Social Entrepreneurs (YSSE) is going to arrange their gala event “Bangladesh Youth
Symposium 2018” at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in association with “BUET
Entrepreneurship Development Club” on 9th November, 2018. Students rarely think of the colorful path
of entrepreneurship as their career. Due to lacking of steerage and dictation potential entrepreneurs at
student age have lost their road to being a successful entrepreneur. YSSE is going to arrange this mega
event to concern them about basis requirements of entrepreneurship, strategies to build a venture,
tactics to launch a product or service and ways to overcome hurdles in the way of successful
entrepreneur.

Masud Khan, Chief Executive Officer, Crown Cement, is going to present as the special guest of the
event. Hussain M Elius, Co-founder and CEO of “Pathao”, will tell the young audience about their
amazing story of Pathao and business experiences so far. Proprietor of Tan, Tania Wahab, as a resource
person she will share the story of her personal entrepreneurial journey. In her speech, she will share the
story of failures, the story of struggles and finally the story of achievements of Tan. Waliullah Bhuiyan,
Chief Executive Officer, – Light of Hope, is coming to BYS- 2018 at BUET to share his story of immense
experiences and thoughts about self-employment, different forms of it, and its significance. The biggest
start up in health sector is so called “Augmedix”. The country director of “Augmedix”, Rashed Mujib
Noman will reveal the possibilities of entrepreneurs in health sector. Young entrepreneur, Co-founder
and CFO of “UNDP Safe Water Challenge” winning start up “Tetra”, Mubashir Tahmid will present to
share his experiences on start up at student time. An “Elevator Pitch Challenge” will be arranged to

national Bangla newspaper “The Daily Somokal” is the print media partner of the event.”Jamuna TV” is
the electronic media partner and “CNI” is the online media partner of the event.
With the succession of BYS-2018 at DIU and Primeasia University, YSSE decided to step forward with the
flag of BYS to spread entrepreneurial spirit among the youth. After accomplishing BYS at BUET
successfully, YSSE is trying to reach remote area’s educational institutions of Bangladesh too very soon-
