Al Akhir has received the International Business Analytics Excellence Award 2026, an international honor recognizing his contributions to healthcare analytics and evidence-based decision-making through advanced business analytics. The award was presented during the International Royal Golden Fellow Award Ceremony 2026, held in conjunction with the Fifth International Conference on Recent Advances in Social Sciences, Humanities, Management and Scientific Research (RAMAS 5.0 2026) on June 29–30.
The award was jointly presented by Eudoxia Research University (USA) and the Eudoxia Research Centre (India) following a competitive international review process. According to conference organizers, submissions from researchers across multiple countries were evaluated for originality, scientific merit, methodological rigor, innovation, and their potential to address significant global challenges. The conference brought together academics, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals representing more than five countries to discuss emerging solutions in healthcare, technology, and sustainable development.
Al Akhir was recognized for developing an integrated business analytics framework that combines descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to improve healthcare decision-making and operational performance. The research seeks to address persistent challenges faced by healthcare systems, including inefficient resource allocation, rising operational costs, patient readmissions, and delays in clinical decision-making.
The study analyzed healthcare data collected from 115 hospitals over a two-year period, incorporating patient demographics, disease prevalence, treatment outcomes, hospital readmission rates, and healthcare resource utilization. Using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models, the research identified patterns that support more informed clinical and administrative decisions.
Among the study's findings, chronic diseases accounted for 36 percent of hospital admissions and were associated with a 42 percent probability of readmission within 30 days. Predictive models demonstrated strong performance, with logistic regression achieving 83 percent accuracy and decision-tree algorithms reaching 87 percent accuracy. The proposed analytics framework also showed measurable operational improvements, including a 15 percent reduction in patient waiting times, an 18 percent increase in treatment adherence, and a 12 percent reduction in hospital operating costs through optimized workforce planning and resource allocation.
Healthcare experts increasingly view business analytics and artificial intelligence as essential tools for improving the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of healthcare delivery. By transforming complex clinical and operational data into actionable intelligence, integrated analytics can help healthcare organizations anticipate patient needs, improve resource management, and strengthen evidence-based policy development.
