Popular small artistes Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury are set to share the big screen for the first time in Vicky Zahed’s upcoming film “Pulsirat”. The much-loved duo, who has  previously appeared together in several television dramas and web projects, will now make their cinematic debut as a pair.

The title Pulsirat was registered in January this year. Although news about the project emerged at the time, Nisho and Mehazabien’s involvement had not been officially confirmed.

The casting gained fresh attention on Monday night, when producer Shahriar Shakil shared a photograph with Nisho and Mehazabien on social media, sparking speculation about their participation in the film.

According to a source related to the production, preparations for Pulsirat are now in the final stages. Shooting is scheduled to begin in early January and is expected to continue for around a month. The production team is reportedly planning to complete post-production in February and release the film during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

If released as planned, “Pulsirat” will mark Nisho and Mehazabien’s first appearance together on the big screen. It will also mark filmmaker Vicky Zahed’s directorial debut in cinema.

The film is being produced by SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited.

Nisho and Mehazabien have previously worked together under Zahed’s direction in projects including “Punorjonmo”, “Chirokal Aaj” and “Redrum”. Their reunion on the big screen has already generated considerable interest among the audience.
