“A Taste of America” invites food lovers to a lavish road-trip-inspired feast featuring premium steaks, smash burgers, tacos, seafood, carving stations and indulgent desserts

Dhaka: Get ready for a flavour-packed culinary journey across the Americas as Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan presents “American Trucks Food Carnival”, a 10-day food festival at Flair from 8 to 17 October 2026.

Inspired by the vibrant food culture of American cities, roadside diners, food trucks and open-grill favourites, the festival brings together an extensive spread of grilled meats, Tex-Mex favourites, Latin-inspired dishes, seafood, burgers, salads, desserts and much more - all under one roof.

One of the highlights of the carnival is the Chicago BBQ Carving Truck, where guests can enjoy rosemary-buttered smoked prime beef, served alongside mashed potatoes, roasted carrots and grilled corn on the cob. The festival also features a New York Carving Lamb, presenting whole roasted lamb infused with garlic, rosemary and Latin spices, accompanied by mint chimichurri, lamb jus and salsa criolla.

For steak lovers, the experience gets even more indulgent with premium grilled steaks, served as part of the festival’s generous selection of flame-kissed meats and barbecue favourites.

Adding a classic American touch, the Route 66 Smash Burger Garage invites diners to create their own burger experience with a selection of brioche buns, premium beef patties, smoky chicken and Cajun seafood patties. Guests can customise their burgers with toppings such as crispy andcaramelised onions, sautéed mushrooms, cheddar cheese, guacamole, fried egg and truffle mushrooms, complemented by a variety of house sauces.

The carnival takes guests beyond burgers and steaks with a vibrant Mexican and Latin-inspired spread, featuring tacos, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, guacamole and fresh salsa. The Texas Burritos Food Truck brings another layer of Tex-Mex comfort food to the table, while Caribbean-inspired offerings include Caribbean fried fish and Caribbean shrimp fricassee.

Seafood lovers can also explore an array of flavours, including shrimp popcorn, smoked salmon with lime and avocado, shrimp cocktail and Cajun-inspired seafood selections.

The festival’s hot food selection continues with favourites such as Cajun double-fried chicken, buffalo chicken wings, jalapeño cheesy pops, loaded fries, mac & cheese, American-style pizza, Texas Killer Noodles and Shanghai fried rice, creating a diverse spread designed for both adventurous diners and lovers of familiar comfort food.

For those who prefer lighter options, the extensive cold section features Mexican Corn & Avocado Salad, Black Bean & Mango Salad, Latin Quinoa Salad, Roasted Beetroot & Orange Salad, Classic Caesar Salad, Thai Beef Salad, Niçoise Salad and more, alongside an international cheese and bread selection.

And no American-inspired feast would be complete without dessert. The festival’s dessert station features an indulgent selection including New York Cheesecake, Apple Pie, Pecan Pie, Key Lime Pie, Tres Leches Cake, Mexican Chocolate Cake, Dulce de Leche Cheesecake, Brazilian Coconut Cake, Churros, Chocolate Tacos, Coconut Flan and Chocolate Brownies. Guests can also personalise their desserts with toppings such as toasted coconut, chocolate chips, assorted nuts, fresh fruits, caramelised nuts and chocolate sauce.

The festival will be held at Flair, Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, from 8 to 17 October 2026, daily from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, at BDT 7,499 net per person.
