IBA-JU holds online classes

Shahadat Sumon, JU correspondent: Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Jahangirnagar university on Saturday have started holding classes online to keep academic activities on track.

This information was given through a press release from the university’s public relations office on Sunday.

“The university’s curriculum is being disrupted due to worldwide Coronavirus pandemic and it impact on education badly.” Director of the Institute Dr. Sheikh Mohammed Rafiul Haque said adding “The teachers of the institute has started taking classes of under graduate, graduate and weekend courses students studying in different semesters according to the pre-scheduled classes.”

“This initiative has taken by the decision of all the teachers and students of the Institute to keep academic activities on track. It also help us to overcome session jam of the Institute.”he added.

Earlier, The University Grants Commission (UGC) has urged all universities to continue their academic activities online, during the closure of higher educational institutions in wake of the global coronavirus outbreak. The authorities of IBA-JU has strated following the notice on April 1.
