Special correspondent : Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez walked the red carpet of the world famous Cannes Film Festival. She appeared in a shimmering rose golden costume by Michele de Couture on Monday at the Palais de Festival on the beach in Cannes, southern France. The beauty looked stunning in her open hair styled with exquisite Hassanzade jewellery. BMW has also been invited to the festival due to its association with the luxury car maker. BMW is the official partner of Cannes festival. Jacqueline told the media, I am very excited to go to the Cannes Film Festival again this year. It feels great to represent India, and an honor to walk the prestigious red carpet where so many legends have already walked.

The movie depicts the Saudi social reality of the nineties. Following this, Los Angeles-based Saudi Arabian production company Threesixnine Studios has announced. According to a statement of the company, the Saudi businessman Sheikh Mohammed Youssef El Kherezi will serve as the chairman of the threesixteen studio company. He is a billionaire from Saudi Arabia. Sheikh Mohammed had invested in Hollywood films in the past.

Studio Ghibli was awarded the honorary Palme d’Or at the premiere of ‘The Apprentice’ on Monday. Goro Miyazaki, and Kenichi Yoda accepted the honor.

Supermodel Bella Hadid appeared on the red carpet at the premiere of the same film.

On the other hand, Lapata Ladies’ actress Chaya Kadam arrived at the Cannes festival wearing her late mother’s saree and nath.

His Malayalam film ‘All We Imagine as Light’, directed by Payal Kapadia, is in contention for the Cannes Palme d’Or. After 30 years an Indian film made it to the main competition. The film will premiere at the festival on May 23.

On May 14, the 77th Cannes Film Festival was inaugurated by three-time Oscar-winning American actress Meryl Streep. She was awarded the Palm d or in this event. Since 2015, the prestigious Palme d’Or has been awarded at Cannes. In addition to Meryl Streep, the legendary American director, screenwriter and producer George Lucas will be presented with the honorary Palme d’Or at the closing ceremony of the festival. The grand finale of this festival will be on May 25.
