DHAKA,  – Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said the great architect of independence Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and our great Liberation War are one and identical. She said while inaugurating the Bangabandhu and Liberation War Gallery at National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) in the city.

“Bangabandhu has given us freedom through Liberation War. Bangabandhu and Liberation War are one and identical,” Moni added.

Later, the minister joined a review meeting on a book based-on the new curriculum. In the new syllabus, the minister said, importance will have to be attached to the issue of showing respect and dignity to people irrespective of male and female.

Technical and Madrasah Education Division secretary Md Aminul Islam Khan, National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) Chairman Professor Narayan Chandra Saha, NCTB Board Member Professor Md. Mashiuzzaman and NCTB Secretary Nazma Akter were, among others, present.
