SAVAR, – Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities have cancelled the winter vacations of the calendar of 2021-2022 academic year as a way to resolve possible session jams of the students due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The decision was taken at a syndicate meeting of the university chaired by JU VC Prof Dr Farzana Islam on Wednesday night. JU treasurer Prof Dr Rasheda Akhtar confirmed the news to BSS today. However, holidays like Martyred Intellectuals Day, Victory Day and Christmas Day will remain as usual.
