One of the popular Islamic scholars of Bangladesh is Rafi Bin Monir

Rafi Bin Monir, since 2009, he has been conducting waz mahfil all over the country for almost 15 years. He started his career from Takmeel in 2009. After that served as Imam and Khatib of Urdu Road Jame Masjid, Chawkbazar, Dhaka for 6 years. He served in Banani and Mahamadpur for 3 years and Makim Bazar as Khatib of Bansal Dhaka for about 6 years. He has been reciting Qur’an-Hadith verses and Hadith numbers and commenting on them in Waj Mahfil. Rafi Bin Monir was born on March 11, 1989 in Budhpasa village under Kulaura police station in Moulvibazar. Baba Maulana Moniruzzaman Sahib (Senior Mudarris) Jamia Hussainia Ashraful Uloom Bara Katra, Chowkbazar, Dhaka. When Rafi’s father took him to Dhaka, he started studying at his father’s Madrasah Bara Katara. In the same Madrasa, Hifz started and completed three Paras. The remaining 27 paras were completed in 1999 at Churidhatta Furkaniya Hafizia Madrasa Chowkbazar in Dhaka and the Hifz hearing was completed in 2000. In 2012, he completed Ifta from Jamia Qurania Arabia Lalbagh, Dhaka. Apart from this, he did honors in social science at Dhaka College, Alim Dewai Kazirbagh Alim Madrasa Rupganj, Narayanganj. Fazil studied till Beldi Darul Hadis Fazil Madrasa Rupganj, Narayanganj and Shah Ali Kamil Madrasa Mirpur, Dhaka.
