Rubel Anush made a web film titled ‘Newmarket’. In that film the girl’s name is Hawa. The life of the simple-minded girl is very ordinary. Loves to get wet in the rain, to talk alone with flowers and birds. Hawa went to Newmarket one day to do some shopping for her and family. But she could not even imagine that going there would bring disaster in her life. At Newmarket, Hawa was subjected to unexpected conditions. The course of her life changed. Her simple life becomes very complicated.
The film was shot in Newmarket, Moghbazar, Khilkhet and Kaola areas of the capital towards the end of June. After all the work including shooting, editing, “Newmarket” is now waiting for release.
According to Rubel Anush, the fiction will be released on YouTube channel ‘Chayachabi’ on Thursday.
Rubel Anush said, ‘Its story has been written based on an unexpected incident that happened in Newmarket a few years ago. I have changed the character’s name, time and context for consistency reasons’. However, the director does not want to reveal the fact that he has made the fiction based on the actual event.
Tanjim Saiyara Totini played the role of Hawa in Newmarket’ web film. Hails from Barishal Totini started working in media a few years ago. In 2019, she went to audition for an advertisement through an acquaintance. That’s the start. Totini has worked in more than 30 commercials so far. She acted in NTV’s ‘House No. 96’ series.
This young lady steals the show portraying the character of Kolpona in “Ei Muhurte”, in the chapter directed by Piplu R Khan. The Chorki project is the first of many for Tanjim Saiyara Totini, a final-year student of North South University.
The fresh face had the chance to share the screen with heavyweights like Sara Zaker and Zahid Hasan, in the project.
