Ityadi to mark 46th death anniv of Kazi Nazrul Islam

The upcoming show of popular television magazine programme Ityadi has been shot in Darirampur of Trishal-the place where national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam spent his student life.
The stage is built in front of the poet’s classroom in Darirampur School, which is full of memories of his student life. Marking the 46th death anniversary of our national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and to celebrate the centenary of his first published poetry book ‘Agniveena’, this place was chosen.
The programme will be aired on BTV and BTV world at 8:00pm on July 29.
Popular singers Bappa Majumder and Priyanka Gope will be seen performing a famous Nazrul song at the programme. Composed by Mehdi, another group of Nazrul music artists is supporting them.
A group of more than a hundred dancers will dance with a piece of music which is a mix of three Nazrul songs and two poems of Nazrul. The dance performance has been directed by Monirul Islam Mukul.
There will be an educational segment and a brief of Nazrul’s life in Trishal. In this episode, a feature on Dr. Abu Bakkar Siddiki who now is involved with the country’s agriculture will be shown too. A humanitarian feature story on Abdul Malek, who is involved with social services, such as helping street children and taking care of mentally challenged and old people. Ityadi first started by reporting on the wonders and places of the world under the title of foreign reports. In continuation of that, this episode has an informative report on the Acropolis of Greece.
There is an audience segment, where 4 audiences have been selected from the audience through a question and answer session on the venue. Trishal and about national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
The second segment has been arranged with some Nazrul songs and folk songs. Rezaul Karim Aslam, who is a musical instrument collector, has been invited as a special guest. The audience will be introduced to some Bangladeshi musical instruments.
There will be some interesting dramas too. Notable artists in this episode are Dilara Zaman, Solaiman Khoka, Ziaul Hasan Kislu, Mir Nasimul Islam Salim, Shabnam Parveen, Subhasish Bhowmik, Kazi Asad, Kamal Bayezid, Afzal Sharif, Zillur Rahman, Amin Azad, and many others. The shooting of the episode was finished on July 17 and the spot was full with the audience. The programme started at 7:30pm and continued till 12:00am on that day.
The show includes several satirical episodes on various social inconsistencies and contemporary events.
