Suchinta Chowdhury Chanchal, known as Chanchal Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi actor. This National Film Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury will be seen in a new web series directed by renowned Indian director AnjanDutt.

About the matter, Chanchal Chowdhury said, “Anjan Dutt is a prominent director, actor and singer of India. We have talked about the new web series several times. Even last Thursday we discussed the matter. I’m very keen to act under his direction. If everything goes well, the shooting of the unnamed web series will begin in October.”

“I’m also looking forward to acting in a few OTT productions in the next few months,” he added. Chanchal will resume shooting before or after August 15 through Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s web series ‘Munsigiri’. The shooting of this project has almost been completed. After that, the actor will start shooting for another web series directed by Shankhadas Gupta. Chanchal’s dramas ‘O Pakhi Tor Jantrana’, ‘Pargachha’, ‘Fakir Majnu’, ‘Rimur Chithi’, ‘Moghol Family’ and others were aired during last Eid-ul-Azha.

He has also completed shootings for two films, Giasuddin Selim-directed ‘Paap Punno’ and Mezbaur Rahman-directed ‘Hawa’. The films will hit cinemas after the covid situation improves, Chanchal informed.

Chanchal Chowdhury is a popular film, television and theatre artiste of the country. He started his career in 1996 as a theater artiste. He joined famous theater troupes such as Aranyak Natyadal and performed in stage plays like ‘Prakritojoner Kotha’, ‘Joyjoyonti’, ‘Ora Kodom Ali’, ‘Mayur Singhason’, ‘Songkranti, Rarang’ and ‘Che-er Cycle’.

Chanchal has worked in many popular TV dramas and serials. His notable plays are ‘Vober Hat’, ‘Sakin Sarisuri’, ‘Talpatar Shepai’, ‘Ghor Kutum’, ‘Bideshi Para’ and others. He also appeared in films. He has received two Bangladesh National Film Awards for Best Actor.
