Shakilur Rahman Shakil, working with SATV a private television channel in Bangladesh, has been elected publicity secretary of Cultural Journalists Forum of Bangladesh (CJFB). Recently, CJFB members cast their votes to elect their leaders.

Cultural Journalists Forum of Bangladesh (CJFB) is an organization of cultural journalists of major national dailies, television and online media. It was established in 1999.

Newly-elected publicity secretary Shakilur Rahman (Shakil) said, “it is a big challenge for me to keep this organization’s reputation high but it must be faced without fear, I hope, I will overcome the challenges with cooperation from the member of Cultural Journalists Forum of Bangladesh (CJFB),”

I will perform my duty with honesty and sincerely by the direction of body of the organization, he added.

In the election, Tamim Hasan and Khaled Ahmed have been elected president and general secretary of Cultural Journalists Forum of Bangladesh (CJFB), Besides, Enam Sarkar has been elected chief adviser.
