Mosleh Uddin Ahmed joined Shahjalal Islami Bank as MD & CEO

Mosleh Uddin Ahmed has joined as Managing Director & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited on Monday October 03, 2022. Prior to his joining at Shahjalal Islami Bank, Ahmed has served as Managing Director & CEO of National Credit & Commerce (NCC) Bank Limited and South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Limited. He has an illustrious colorful career with more than 3 decades of banking experience in the important positions in local and foreign banks.
He has also served as Additional Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director in the Jamuna Bank Limited. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed served with reputation and efficiency as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Corporate at City Bank, Regional Credit Head of State Bank of India and Head of Leasing Division at Prime Bank Head Office.
Mosleh Uddin Ahmed graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) also obtained Diploma in Computer Science. He has also completed MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka. He completed different Training Courses on Senior Leadership Management, Advanced Credit Risk Management and Trade Finance from University of Cambridge, AIT Bangkok, Central Bank of Malaysia, State Bank of India Staff College Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi etc. Besides, he has also participated in many other Training, Workshop and Seminar at home and abroad. He delivered lectures on banking and finance in various Public & Private Universities, Training Institutes and Academies.
Mosleh Uddin Ahmed is the youngest son of late Mohiuddin Ahmed and Mst. Jahura Begum, a resident of Chuadanga District Sadar. In his family life he has a wife, a son and a daughter.
