Dinajpur Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sushant Sarker was awarded as the best circle of Rangpur Range for his special contribution in maintaining law and order situation in the Sadar Circle area and Biral Police Inspector ATM Golam Rasul received special award for the recovery of illegal arms and for arresting the accused.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police for Rangpur Range, Devdas Bhattacharya handed over the honorarium crest to the Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) of Dinajpur and the special award to police inspector of the Biral police station (OC) ATM Golam Rasul. Rangpur Range’s DIG Devdas Bhatratacharya chaired the monthly crime review meeting at Rangpur range office on September 7.
In the meeting Dinajpur Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sushant Sarker was selected as the best circle for preventing child marriage, eve-teasing, playing effective role in the formation of safe road, providing flowers to the drivers for having proper documentation, holding public awareness road rally, drug recovery, destruction of narcotics and terrorists, arrest of absconding accused in regular cases, arresting drug dealers and hosts of drug abusers and for overall contribution to maintain the law and order situation in the Sadar Circle area.
