The news ofroad accident is being published in the mass media every day in the country. Among them, the highest numbers of motorcycle accident are being reported. In the last few years, motorcycle ride sharing has increased tremendously in the capital. Many companies carry passengers on motorcycles outside the registration of companies in this sector. Most of the drivers are not trained. They do not care about the traffic signals and ride motorcycles on the road.App-based businesses are part of that continuum of trade and ride-sharing information technology. Send app-based ride sharing to several divisional entered these app based networks, because of these, public transport networking like Patho and Uber have become extremelyrisky. Due to reckless and incompetent biking, unpleasant incidents and accidents occur among the drivers and riders in different places of Dhaka almost every day.
Reckless riding of motorcycles by teenagers,attempts to overtake, repeated lane changes, disobedience towards traffic laws and talking on a mobile phone while on the move. Keeping low quality helmets for passengers, the tendency to go before the gap melts is also strong. They also think that there are deaths due to these reasons. At present, 64% of the country’s motorcycle accidents occur in the divisional cities of the country and the highways. The big reason is that there is less traffic supervision. In addition, the number of accidents are higher as the passengers travel more on the highways. Now the youth are competing for bikes as soon as they have time. Friends ride bikes from one place to another in groups. They run it in competition with the restless. Again, all these bikers are not very skilled. Some people don’t even have a driving license. As a result, they are losing their lives in bike accidents. There is nothing new to say about the public transport system in the capital.
Yet every day millions of working people have to travel at risk. In every sector of public transport including local bus, CNG autorickshaws, taxi cab, the city dwellers are facing unbridled arbitrariness and various kinds of suffering. With the spread of information technology, unimaginable changes are taking place in the communication system all over the world. Cities in the country, including the capital, Patho and Uber is starting to become popular. But like the reckless drivers of public transport, some reckless, incompetent and crime prone bikers and car drivers.App-based businesses are part of that continuum of trade and ride-sharing information technology.

From January to October this year, 1,653 people were killed in 1,853 motorcycle accidents across the country. At the same time last year, 1,026 people were killed in 1,011 motorcycle accidents. In the last 10 months, the number of motorcycle accidents has increased by 63.70 percent and the death toll has increased by 71.35 percent. Bigger than that, 32.69 percent of these crippled beggars used to be transport workers. Young people are more likely to die in motorcycle accidents. The Road Safety Foundation identifies 12 causes of motorcycle accidents as reckless motorcycling by teenagers, unavailability of high speed motorbikes, lack of road safety awareness campaigns, indulging in reckless behavior of children in the family, adolescents under the patronage of politics. The culture of reckless motorcycling.The number of people injured in motorcycle accidents is also increasing. One of the major causes of motorcycle accidents is overtaking. Apart from this, running with fatigue and rushing is also one of the reasons.
Bus, truck, Laguna and private car reckless driving and sudden lane change, non-mechanical vehicles turning and changing lanes, sudden potholes in the road, high or low manhole cover and no sign of impedance, carelessness of pedestrians and sudden dogs, cows and goats.
Leaving is also a big cause of accidents. Most of the people who are injured on the road and go for medical treatment are now victims of motorcycle accidents. There is no harm in buying and using them; no monitoring system. About 35 lakh motorcycles are running in the country at present. More than 12 lakhs are running in the capital alone. The use of motorcycles is increasing at an unusual rate due to lack of quality public transport and traffic jams. Motorcycles are 30 times more risky than four-wheelers.
The Road Safety Foundation has made 13 recommendations to reduce road accidents. One of these is taking drastic measures to stop reckless motorcycling of teenagers; Control the production, sale and use of high-speed motorcycles; To create separate lanes for motorcycles on highways, improve public transport and make motorcycle accessible and discourage the use of motorcycles. Apart from this, the organization has suggested to increase the initiative to create skilled drivers, fix the salary and working hours of public transport drivers, ensure uninterrupted application of traffic laws, construct service roads on highways and implement road transport law-2018 smoothly According to the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority, the registration of motorcycles has increased more than before.The following year the number was more than 60 thousand. A large number of them are only in Dhaka.For those who are a little comfortable, do not own a car but want to get a car, do not want to go through the trouble of buying a car, or want to go for a walk with the whole family, in many cases just a few clicks on the smartphone, after a few minutes the air-conditioned car arrivesin-front of the door.
Ride Sharing App’s car service is so popular because of this feature, but not as much as motorcycle service, but there are many complaints about them. Authorities of Ride Sharing Apps say the complaints they receive include objections to the driver’s use, unwillingness to pick up passengers at their preferred location or disputes over fares. But concerns about road safety are the biggest.
