Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions until tomorrow morning.

“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain at one or two places over Khulna,
Barishal and Chattogram divisions,” the met office said in a 24-hour weather forecast commencing from 9 am today.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may rise by 1-3 degree Celsius over the country during the period, it said.

It also said the low over central part of Andaman Sea and adjoining area now lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining north Andaman Sea and it is likely to intensify. Trough of low lies over Northeast Bay, the forecast added.

Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 33.3 degree Celsius at Cox’s Bazar in Chattogram division and today’s minimum temperature was recorded 13.7 degree Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur.

The sun sets at 05:12pm today and rises at 06:15am tomorrow in the capital.
