There are so many talented child actor and actress in Bangladesh. Simrin Lubaba is one of them. She is the granddaughter of well-known actor Abdul Quader. Simrin wrote her name in acting by holding her grandfather’s hand. Little Lubaba can also sing songs. So she covered the recently viral Sri Lankan song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ with her own voice.
Musician-lyricist Yohani’s song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ has become a new sensation on social media. The song has gone viral in all countries of the subcontinent in the last few days. The song has numerous covers in different languages. The melody and the singer’s magic have captivated the general audience as well as stars like Amitabh Bachchan.
However, Lubaba sang the song in Sri Lankan language. The song is also gaining praise in her soft and sweet voice. Shihab Ashraful has arranged a new music for this song.
It is learned that Lubaba has released a studio version of the song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’. The song has been released on her own Facebook as well as YouTube channel called ‘Simrin Lubaba’. In the song, she has mixed some parts of the popular folk song of Sylhet ‘Naya Daman’. The song was recorded at TR Music Studio.
Regarding the song, Simrin Lubaba told The Bagladesh Today, ‘At first I was scared but I sang the song with a lot of joy. Grandma also liked the song very much. I am getting a lot of response after the release’.
Lubaba’s mother said, ‘To be a real artist, she has to be good at everything. I am training everything to make Lubaba an artist. She made her debut as a vocalist by covering ‘Manike Mage Hithe’. From now on, besides acting, she will also sing regularly.’
It is learned that the second cover song of Simrin, ‘Achen Amar Muktar, Achen Amar Barrister’ is going to be released next Friday.
She has already been seen in several dramas and advertisements. She has also acted in several movies including ‘Rickshaw Girl’ directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, ‘570’ by Ashraf Shishir and ‘Netri- The Leader’ by Ananta Jalil. The movies are currently awaiting release.
