Mithila stars in new film ‘A River in Heaven’

Dhallywood popular Actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila has recently signed a contract with Indian Bengali film director Riingo Banerjee Ringo’s film titled ‘A River in Heaven’. The forthcoming film, produced by Flixbug. The story is written by Riingo himself.

The actress will be seen in the role of a childless wife. Regarding her character, Mithila said, I really like the character. The story is about a married girl, who does not have children. The family is also pressurising her about it. Somehow the reflection of the patriarchal society will also come up through it. Because, the problem of not having children is with the husband. But I have to bear the responsibility!’

It is known that ‘A River in Heaven’ will tell the story of the tension in the relationship. Love, friendship, trust, betrayal and finally reunion. After many years of marriage, Swapan incessantly blames Vishakha for not having children. He gets angry and puts his hand on his body. But can’t leave because of love. When they went to Varanasi, they met Kaushik, the ex-boyfriend and teacher of Vishakha.

Mithila said, Ringo Da already knew me. Because his eyes were always on Dhaka I knew that he also saw my recent work. So he choose me for the film and it’s like a blessing for me. Apart from Mithila, the film also stars Shramana Chakraborty, daughter of actress-singer Ruma Guhathakurta, Sujoy Prasad Chattopadhyay, Chandreyi Ghosh, Amrita Chattopadhyay and Tannishtha Biswas.
