Popular Dhallywood actor Arifin Shuvoo, who had been out of work for a couple of months after suffering an injury, has returned to work with the shooting of a new television commercial (TVC). The actor took part in the shooting of a TVC under the direction of Adnan Al Rajeev on the premises of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation in the capital on Saturday.

Though Shuvoo had a plan to resume work with the shooting of his new film ‘Noor’, the ongoing corona pandemic ruined the plan completely. He had been ill for quite a long time after involving in an injury during the body transformation for his film ‘Mission Extreme’. As a result, he had to take a break from the work since last April.

After recovering from his illness, the actor has returned to shooting with Rajeev’s TVC and will participate in the shooting of his film ‘Noor’ early next month. “The shooting of ‘Noor’ will begin early next month. The entire shooting of the film will take place outside Dhaka. I am also working as an executive producer of this film,” Shuvoo told The Business Post on Sunday.

Regarding the current condition of his leg injury, Shuvoo said, “The condition of my leg is much better now. I may need to go abroad for advanced treatment. Still, I feel good.” Last April, Shuvoo took part in the shooting of ‘Bangabandhu’, a biopic on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman produced jointly by the governments of Bangladesh and India. The shooting of the film is expected to resume in October this year.

“The shooting of the biopic ‘Bangabandhu’ will also resume in October depending on the coronavirus situation,” Shuvoo said.
