At this stage of her acting career, popular actress Dipa Khondkar has found herself wrapped in a special bond of love and admiration from audiences, who now recognise her as a skilled performer. This turning point in her career is particularly significant to her, as she is receiving numerous scripts and carefully reading each one before deciding whether to take on a project.
Dipa has followed this approach since the beginning of her acting journey. A strong story and a well-developed character have always been important to her. Now that she has earned a reputation as a talented actress, she feels she needs to be even more selective when choosing stories and roles.
Recently, Dipa acted in a drama titled Kormofol, written and directed by Mohin Khan. In the drama, she takes on a challenging character that is different from the conventional roles she has played. AKM Hasan is her co-star in the production.
Speaking about the new drama, Dipa said, "Mohin writes his stories with great care and puts the same level of dedication into making them. That is why I also enjoy working under his direction. Kormofol is a story rooted in real life. I worked very hard to portray my character convincingly. I hope audiences will enjoy the drama when it airs."
Meanwhile, Dipa is set to begin work on a new television serial directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. A press conference featuring the cast of the serial held on Sunday, at a shooting house in Uttara, Dhaka.
