Miladunnabi to remain unique example of paying respect to honesty, humility, justice: Rizvi

BNP Acting Secretary General and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today said Eid-e-Miladunnabi will remain a unique example of paying respect to honesty, humility, generosity, and justice, and of following the path shown by the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

“Today is the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH). On this sacred day, the greatest human being in the universe was born. With the auspicious arrival of this child, the doors of mercy were opened throughout the world,” he said in a message on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH).

“On the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), I pray for infinite peace and boundless welfare for the people of the country and the entire Muslim Ummah. I extend my heartfelt greetings and congratulations to them,” he said.

Rizvi said his timeless values of humanity, compassion, generosity, and empathy for people will remain an eternal teaching for humankind. From his youth, he was a fearless warrior against falsehood, who never betrayed a trust and considered helping others as his utmost duty, he added.

The great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) left a brilliant example of respecting elders and showing affection to the young, he said, adding that dedicated to the pursuit of absolute truth, the Prophet received prophethood at the age of 40. Through tireless and diligent efforts, he spread the message of monotheism across the world, even enduring limitless persecution, he added.

Allah Almighty revealed the Holy Quran to the Great Prophet (PBUH), which, as a guide for humanity, makes people complete and dignified through practicing all the instructions for salvation in this world and the hereafter, he said. By following his life and actions, Muslims find inspiration to achieve liberation from bondage, establish humanity, and lead their lives beautifully and righteously, he added.
