I don't have time to spend money now: Peya Bipasha

TBT REPORT

Azmeri Sultana Bipasha, widely known as Peya Bipasha, is a Bangladeshi actress and beauty pageant titleholder who won Mrs. World Bangladesh 2022.

Peya Bipasha entered the entertainment industry through the Lux Channel i Superstar competition. After that, she acted in music videos, dramas and movies. But she suddenly disappeared. Later, it was learned that the actress is in America. She has been living there for the last five years. Recently, she spoke about various issues including her life abroad in a media outlet in the country.

Peya Bipasha said that she started living in New York with her only daughter. There she fell in love with a US citizen. Then they got married. Although the two got married, they did not complete the formalities. She intends to complete the formalities of the marriage by the end of this year.

Peya Bipasha said, ‘I didn’t like it in Bangladesh. Because, without lobbying, there would have been no work. I was supposed to make a good movie. But that didn’t happen. After that, my desire to work in the media was lost. I actually wanted to work to earn money. If I can’t work, how will I earn money? So I decided to do something else.’

In Bipasha’s words, ‘I worked in the entertainment industry to earn money as I had a daughter. It was a matter of surviving with my daughter. Later I saw that the way things work, it was not possible to survive in the industry with me. So I decided to come to America. After coming here, I stopped all contact with Bangladesh. I am also earning a lot of money.’

Peya Bipasha said, ‘To be honest, my situation now is such that I don’t even have to earn money. I don’t have any dreams anymore. I have gotten everything I wanted in the last five years. Money, a beautiful life, being established, a good husband—all of that has happened to me. I don’t worry about money now—I don’t have time to spend what I earn.’

Peya Bipasha said that she gets a good amount of money for the posts she makes on Instagram and Facebook about various products. She claims that this money is sometimes between $2,000 and $3,000.

In 2013, she acted opposite Tahsan Khan in the play ‘Ditio Matra’. As a child, she loved reading fairy tales. While reading books, she would imagine herself in the role of the heroine of the story. She also acted on the big screen. The film ‘Rudra: The Gangster’ was released. After that, she was supposed to act opposite Shakib Khan in the film ‘Rajniti’, but it did not happen in the end. Later, Apu Biswas acted in that film instead of Peya Bipasha.
