Ananta Jalil is a popular film actor of Dhaka cinema. He is both a hero, a director and a producer. He made his big screen debut in 2010 in the movie ‘Khoj-The Search’. Directed by Iftakar Chowdhury, the film stars Ananta, Bobby, Afiea Nusrat Barsha and Sohel Rana.

After that, Ananta has acted in 7 movies with the heroine Barsha. Recently finished filming the movie ‘Din-The Day’. The film is a joint production with Iran. Ananta Jalil announced the name of his new movie at a function held at a hotel in the capital on Monday (December 7th) night. He will be seen in the movie ‘Netri- The Leader’ in a joint production with Turkey.

It will be directed by Iftekhar Chowdhury. In this movie too, Barsha will be seen opposite Ananta Jalil. Ananta Jalil said, 10 years ago, I acted with Barsha under the direction of Iftekhar Bhai. There was a misunderstanding with him, it is no more. We will work together again after 10 years. The names of the remaining other artists will be announced later. An official announcement will be made about this movie soon.

On the other hand, the actor’s latest film Din- The Day, a Bangladesh – Iran co-production, will hit the theatres on Eid-ul-Azha.
On December 2, Jalil released the song teaser from his upcoming film on Facebook to mixed reactions.
