Dhallywood actress Shahnoor has started shooting for a web series titled ‘Oiling’. She is acting in a web series for the first time. The actress will be seen in the character of commissioner Priya in the series.

About the project, Shahnoor said, “I got many offers to act in web series. But because I didn’t like the story and the character, so I refrained from working on many web series. I love the storyline of ‘Oiling’. Anurup Aich is a renowned lyricist and dramatist. Helal Islam is making the series with utmost care. This will be a contemporary piece. I’m very much optimistic about it.”

Directed by Helal Islam, the web series has been scripted by Anurup Aich. The shooting of the series has begun in Brahmanbaria recently.
Shahnoor started her career in the media industry with the movie ‘Jiddi Sontan’ directed by Zillur Rahman Moina in 2000. Since then, she acted in many popular films, including, ‘Fashir Adesh’, ‘Shopner Bashan’, ‘Hazar Bochor Dhore’, ‘Mayer Jonno Juddho’, ‘Rajdhani’, ‘Nayan Bhora Jol’, ‘Prem Sanghat’, ‘Sahoshi Manush Chai’, ‘Opohoron’ and ‘Mohatandab’.

She has also appeared on the small screen. ‘Kuashar Shesh Chithi’ was Shahnoor’s first TV drama.
