To determine our role in protecting and developing of the physical and mental well-being of our children, who are particularly vulnerable to this ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, ECD Network is initiating a two-phase live talk-show program on the popular show Corona News Line, a regular talk-show run on Channel-24; one, tomorrow evening (Friday, 3rd of July, 2020,) from 8-20 to 9-00 pm and the second one, on Saturday, 4th of July, 2020 on the same show at the same time. Experts from both government and non-government agencies would participate in the talk show.

On the first day, Program Manager of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mohammad Shariful Islam, Vice-President of Bangladesh ECD Network Ms. Mahmuda Akhter and Researcher of ICDDR’B Dr. Jena Hamadani will be the honorable guests. While, Team Leader of Synergos Bangladesh Ms. Esha Husain, Education Specialist of UNICEF Mr. Mohammad Mohosin and Executive Director of Sisimpur Mr. Shah Alam will be guests on Corona News Line, on Saturday.

The expert panel will mainly discuss on means and ways to identify the health, nutrition and growth challenges faced by our children during this devastating aftermath of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. They will also highlight on the different steps already in measure, or are being taken and future plans of Government of Bangladesh as well as calling for befitting roles of mass media besides ways to accelerate the awareness level of community and parents. Dr. Faiza Rahlaa will conduct the talk show Corona News Line, produced by Nazmus Sakib.
