The body of Jayan Chowdhury, grandson of Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina’s cousin Sheikh Selim, who was killed in a serial explosions on churches and hotels in Sri Lanka, will reach home on Tuesday.

Jayan’s father, who was seriously injured in the attack, is alive.

Industry Minister Nurul Mazid Mahmud Humayun told the reporters after visiting Sheikh Selim’s residence on Monday at 11 am.

To be noted, the death toll from attacks on churches and luxury hotels across Sri Lanka rose significantly to 290, and about 500 people were also wounded.
