Didarul Alam, Guimara, Khagrachhari : Tabs have been distributed among 48 meritorious students as a gift from the Prime Minister in Guimara of Khagrachhari. Those students are from five secondary schools of ninth and tenth standard of the upazila.
The tabs used for the ‘Census and Home Enumeration Project-2021’ were distributed at the Upazila Parishad hall room on Wednesday afternoon in a program which was organized by the Upazila administration. Guimara Upazila Parishad Chairman Memong Marma, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Raktim Chowdhury attended the distribution ceremony and handed over these tabs to the students.
The guests said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, we are moving towards Smart Bangladesh through digital Bangladesh. If we proceed by identifying four specific areas in the construction of Smart Bangladesh, there will be no leftovers in the transition to Smart Bangladesh
Meanwhile, the students, their parents and school teachers were very happy to receive these tabs as a gift from the Prime Minister. This is a gift that will be use to build Smart Bangladesh that students will play a role in making smart citizens, said Model High school head teacher Bablu Hossain. He said that these tabs have been distributed among the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders of the 9th and 10th classes of secondary level.
Under the supervision of Upazila Statistics Officer Rakesh Biswas, Upazila Vice Chairman Kangjari Chowdhury, Model High School Principal Bablu Hossain, Madrasa Superintendent Zainul Abedin and others were present at the event.
