CHATTOGRAM,  – Three more people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Chattogram district taking the caseload to 102,566 since the pandemic began in the last year.

Meanwhile, Chattogram district recorded a lowest Covid-19 positivity rate of 0.28 percent after testing 1,077 samples during the last 24 hours till Sunday morning,

With the newly infected cases, the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) patients now stands at 102,563 in the district. The total number of recovered patients from the deadly virus rose to 94,436 with the curing of 29 more people in the past 24 hours.

Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram district, said the percentage of recovery rate is 92.11. With no new death recorded during the period, the death toll steady at 1,332. A total of 270 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different designated hospitals here, the sources also said.
