Dry weather likely over the country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted that weather may remain dry in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country,” the met office said in a 24-hour weather forecast commencing from 9 am today.

It also said the low over Southeast Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay now lies over Southwest Bay and adjoining area as a Well-marked Low. One of its
associated trough extends to North Bay, the forecast added.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period, it said.

Country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 33.00 degree Celsius at Cox’s Bazar in Chattogram division and today’s minimum temperature was recorded 13.2 degree Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 05:12pm today and rises at 06:16am tomorrow in the capital.
