BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that the leaders of the ruling Awami League (AL) are making a living based on lies. Bangladesh’s sovereignty is being challenged today. He said that lies and untruths do not last long. Now it is time to say goodbye to Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina. He said that in a few days this AL government will be farewell from the people. They will become eternal farewells. So there is no alternative to a non-partisan neutral government to bring democracy back from the hands of the antichrist fascists.
Sheikh Hasina is the anti-democracy force. She is the symbol of illegality and all irregularities. She is a symbol of vote robbery. The AL has a tradition of voting during the day and at night. On the other hand, the alternative to democracy is the uncompromising leader Begum Khaleda Zia. Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia are the symbols of open meetings and processions. He was speaking at a discussion on title of “Non-Party Government and Multiparty Democracy” organized by the Manab Sheba Sangha at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity auditorium (DRU) on Tuesday (September 28). BNP Chairperson’s advisor Ataur Rahman Dhali, BNP’s Education Secretary Prof. Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, Krishak Dal Vice President Advocate Gautam Chakraborty, Matsyajibi Dal Member Secretary Abdur Rahim and others spokes at the meeting. The president of Manab Sheba Sangha Sonjoy Dey Ripom presided over the meeting.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, AL is now in power in a monstrous way. they are trying to stay in power by making various threats, making various black laws, intimidating the media. On the other hand, the government is lying fluently with some of its own media. He said the prime minister has challenged the country’s sovereignty to retain her power. A foreigner is working as Additional Chief Engineer in Sylhet. Is he a citizen of the country? But he is working in a high position. So where is the sovereignty of this country? As Sheikh Hasina is the PM today, the soil of my country, the sovereignty of the country is in danger.
Rizvi said that although Hitler and Mussolini were fascists, there was patriotism among them. They want their country to be stronger than any other country in the world. And our PM is trying to suppress the opposition with the misdeeds of Hitler and Mussolini. She did nothing to strengthen the country. Instead, she is giving whatever she can to other countries to maintain her power. He further said does this PM have any kindness towards the people of the country? The PM has sold her head to the lords. Rizvi said, AL leaders said- if you have courage, why Tareq Rahman should not come to the country? I tell them, if you have the courage, why you do not give a non-partisan election. If you have the courage, I will give you a strong election commission. You do not have that courage. But the people will realize their rights.
