How a marketer drives growth for a company

The sales and marketing functions of a company are one of the most important aspects that drives growth. Naturally, it draws talented individuals all over the world. The reason is pretty simple.

This is because people involved in this profession are assertive. This function has also gained a reputation as the lifeblood of a company.
Manpower in the sales and marketing profession focus on attaining company’s growth. The marketer gains the trust of stakeholders on their talent, diligence, honesty and personal conduct and plays a positive role in overcoming all obstacles to increase sales of the company’s products. Talents involved in sales and marketing work directly or indirectly with the company’s establishment, management system, supply management, staff management, distribution process, transportation management and accounting process.

In other words, multiparty collaboration is needed to stay competitive. The risks here need to be converted as strength. They are constantly on a push to be better. Therefore, the salespeople or executives are always in a hurry to reach the goal by overcoming hurdles with a positive attitude. Sometimes resentment grows among the colleagues from other functional departments but at the end of the day, the sales and marketing staff of the company always have to look at the bigger picture.

The marketer strengthen the pillars of the organization by spreading positive attitude to the people of other departments of the company. A company’s sales and marketing executive have to nourish the company’s profits, work harder at the field with honesty and integrity, they become popular at the end of the day. Sales and marketing is a combination of an art and science. The salesperson’s way of life become full of hardships where sometimes they have to accept unbearable mental and physical stress. They face rejection all the time and oftentimes have to deal with very strong competitor.
The sales and marketing officers have to continue to vouch the unsolicited whims of the authorities and they have to move forward by acknowledging the unnecessary harassment of the buyers and traders from time to time. Above all, in every economic activity in the world, sales people are popular, respected and necessary among the business people. A sales officer must be ambitious and goal oriented. They are able to come up with new ideas through innovative thinking and move forward by accurately determining the position of any new product and competitors by keeping an eye on various changes in the market.

A sales and marketing person place the greatest emphasis on personal branding. They want to be unique among many. They build themselves little by little with confidence and constantly research on marketing mix such as products, prices, publicity, place, people, processes etc. They augment the customer base of the company by adopting and implementing strategic business plans which have a direct role in the development of the organization and the product. They can make consistent decisions on what kind of problem they are aware of, quickly and efficiently. Meeting a potential customer is not an easy task.

To do this, a sales and marketing employee plans a lot, think positively, finds the right link with the sales team and ensures the sale of the product. The bottom line is that sales and marketing is the first and last hope of a company or organization. This is why sales and marketing staff members are vital in driving the growth of a company.
