DHAKA,  – Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi,Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna,Barishal Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and it may continue.

Weather is likely to remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of rain or thundershowers at one or two places over Rangpur and Sylhet divisions.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to a met office release here today.

Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 39.8 degree Celsius at Jashore and today’s minimum temperature 21.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia. The sun sets at 6:25 pm today and rises at 5:26 am tomorrow in the capital.
