Dr. Suman Kumar Panday has been appointed as the director of the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) Prime Minister’s Office. On March 24, 2021, the government issued a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration appointing him as the director of NSDA, a press release said.

Earlier, he was working in the Ministry of Education. There he has worked with his own talent and skills. In his personal life he is known as a talented writer, researcher and skilled officer.

Dr. Suman Panday was born in Narayanpur village of Bagha upazila of Rajshahi district. His father, the late Sukumar Kumar Panday, was a prominent social worker and educator. His mother Shikha Rani Panday is known in the area as a human tender woman.
