DHAKA, – Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Muhibullha, an Awami League leader of Kodala union under Ranguniya upazila in Chattogram district.

In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Muhibullha was admitted to a hospital in the port city on April 3 with severe head injury. Later, he succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of today. He was 40.

Muhibullha left his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, urged the law enforcers to bring the criminals who attacked Muhibullha, to book soon.
