BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has signaled that the BNP’s protest against the government will continue. He was speaking as the chief guest at a brief rally after a procession in front of the BNP’s central office in Naya Paltan on Wednesday. The protest was held demanding the release of Dhaka South Juba Dal president Rafiqul Alam Majnu. The procession started from the front of the BNP’s central office in Naya Paltan and ended at the party office again after going around the Nightingale restaurant in Kakrail.

Addressing to the leaders and workers Ruhul Kabir said, our protest procession against the ruling government cannot be stopped. He felt the need to involve more young people in the protest rally.

He condemned the statement made by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday about Ziaur Rahman. He also demanded the unconditional release of all including Juba Dal leaders Zakir Hossain Siddiqui and Sharif.

Juba Dal secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Dhaka South Juba Dal secretary Golam Mawla Shahin, former central leader of Chhatra Dal Md Abul Hasan, Mehboob Masum Shanto, Tofazzal Hossain Kajal, Faruk Patwari among others were present in the procession.
