Sohana Saba said in an excited voice, “I got the best actress award at the Jaipur International Film Festival in 2015 by acting in the movie Brihonnola.” After that, I was called for jury in this festival several times.
But due to busy schedule I could not make time. I know it is a matter of highest honor. Even though, the opportunity does not come again and again, so I politely told them ‘no’ every time. But in August when I was offered to be a jury as usual. I took the opportunity as soon as I found it.
The actress also said, ‘In the coming days, I will give one surprise gift after another. Believe me, through my work I will grace the viewers as a Bangladeshi.
It is known that the 5-day long festival started from Friday (January 17 to 21). The world’s largest competitive film festival will screen 240 films from 48 countries. The films were selected by the jury from 1,651 films from 77 countries. Sohana Saba is staying in Jaipur to participate in the festival.
