I will sing until I die: says Baul Apon

The song is mixed with my blood; I will sing till I die, the lyrics are by Baul Apon, a popular artist of the time. The singer, who has already made a name for himself on stage and in original songs, shared his dreams and realities about music in an exclusive conversation with this reporter. His name is Baul Apon, his full name is Md Apon Ahmmed, born and brought up in Paritparal village of Shariakandi Upazila of Bogra district.

This artist, who has been humming songs unconsciously since childhood, had a dream to become a Baul artist when he grew up. Later, this man took music training from Ustad Alamgir Hossain and Anwar Sir from Awaz Foundation. Singing since 2006, the artist's first original song was released in 2009, his first song album titled 'Swapn Manaan'.

Baul Apon has sung the songs of the country's best known lyricists and composers, among them popular lyricist, composer and artist Akkas Dewan, Sanjay Sheel, popular vocalist Purna Milan, Baul Akaid is one of them. So far, seven original songs in the voice of Baul Apon have been released in the market, besides several original songs are waiting to be released. The song 'Manush Chena Day' with full harmony will be released soon.

Baul Apon's popular songs include 'Aore Bandhu Ao' 'Janmate Jaar Dunyaner Alo Ke Ke Neo', 'Dakhina Batas', 'Kisongkate', 'Keman Pirit' 'Paran Bandhu' among others, the songs have been released on popular audio video labels in the country. When asked about his dream and reality about music, Apon also said that the current trend of music seems to be in competition all the time. It is a lot of responsibility to survive in them, but I am and will be with music. Because I kept the song in my heart. Everyone pray that I can sing better songs. I can sing songs of good singers and composers. He also said, without saying anything else, I am especially grateful to the authorities of Trade Service International Limited Company for giving me the opportunity to sing. I wouldn't have come this far in the world of music if my authorities didn't help me.
