Kumar Bishwajit returning to stage shows

TBT REPORT

Kumar Biswajit has been away from music for a long time. The popular musician took a break from music after his only son was seriously injured in a car accident a couple of years ago. He has been living in Canada with his wife for the past two years.

It is learned that the legendary singer is returning to the stage show again.

His busy schedule will start from next month. Kumar Biswajit himself has said this. Starting with Toronto, Canada, he will perform stage shows with his team in Paris, New Zealand, Qatar and several states in Australia.

Kumar Biswajit told the media, For a long time, the organizers didnt want to sing anywhere, even though they wanted to.

Singing is about doing it with emotion, to be honest, that emotion wasnt working. Even then, I had to do a couple of stage shows in the last two years on request.

He then said, The audience is also a part of my family. I have shared joys and sorrows with them through songs and melodies for more than four decades.

I am also far from that family. I thought about it and realized that I should sing for the audience. So I am returning to the stage show this year.

Biswajit has decided to perform in a few stage shows as his son Nibir Kumars condition is improving. He said, Now that Nibir Kumars condition is gradually improving, I have decided to perform in a few stage shows.

For quite some time, organizers from several countries have been contacting me about the stage show. After understanding the situation, I agreed to sing at their event.

He said that he will sing in a concert in Toronto, Canada on June 22. Then he will perform in Paris in July. He is also in talks about a concert in New Zealand. He will perform several concerts in Australia in August. Among them, he will sing in Melbourne on August 23, Sydney on August 30, Brisbane on August 31, and Perth on September 6.

Incidentally, Kumar Bishwajits only son Nibir Kumar was seriously injured in an accident in Canada in February 2023. He has been undergoing treatment in a Canadian hospital since then. Nibir has been in a rehab center in Mississauga, Canada for the past year.
