The two-day National Mime Festival 2025 begins at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital tomorrow.

Bangladesh Mime Federation (BMF) is organising the festival marking its 15th founding anniversary. Mime troupes from all over the country will present their performances in this festival, which will be held at 7:00pm every day at the Studio Theatre Hall of the Academy.

JU Drama and Dramatics department Professor Dr Rashid Harun, Shilpakala Academy Drama and Film department director Faiz Zahir, Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation Secretary General Kamal Bayezid, and Chief Digital Editor of Bangladesh Khabor Hasnat Quadir will be present as guests on the opening day

BMF General Secretary Mahbub Alam will deliver the welcome speech and BMF Finance Secretary Mejbah Chowdhury will host the programme with BMF Acting President Solaman Mahadi in the chair.
