TBT REPORT : The LKG Quartet is a four-member band, headed by artist and composer Labik Kamal Gaurob. With Ahnaf Khan Anik on guitar/co production, Farshid Alam on Bass and Adnan Rushdi on Drums, the band has recently released their debut single ‘shoite pari’ – a tribute to an original composition of Sachin Dev Burman, released in 1985.

The band started its musical journey with a tribute to celebrate the birth month of Sachin Dev, who is one of the prime inspiring models of modern Bangla songs, to the band.

‘Shoite pari’ being the debut release, received quite a positive feedback from both, the musical fraternity and general listeners. The second single, which is another hit number of the maestro, will soon be released this month.

The Band is currently working on some more covers including, Lalon Fakir, Kobi Jalal to name a few and simultaneously, working on their original composition.

The LKG Quartet, has a series of live performances planned from October through January and is also open to bookings for any private or corporate events.
