Using Sustainable Technology is the heart of Bangladeshi Food Industries

The stakeholder meeting on “Using Sustainable Technology for Ensuring Safe Food is the Key for Bangladeshi Food Industries” was held at 10 am today at the IFST Auditorium of Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industry Research (BCSIR).

Honorable Chairman of BCSIR Professor Dr. Md. Aftab Ali Shaikh was present as the chief guest and Mr. Delwar Hossain, Member (Admin), Mohammad Zaker Hossain, Member (Development), Professor Dr. Abu Torab M. A. Rashid from INFS of Dhaka University with BCSIR-Secretary Shah Abdul Tarique were present as special guests. Chairman urged to the scientists working hard with attainable research bend of mind for inventing needful Food Processes to contribute the nation at all.

Food Scientist and Director of Institute of Food Science Technology (INARS) Dr. Abdus Sattar Mia presided over the workshop and welcomed the distinguished stakeholders from BSTI, BSCIC, Bangladesh Navy, Nestle, Akij Food & Beverage, Igloo Ice Cream, Well Group, Bangladesh Edible Oil Ltd and Dhaka University. Among others, directors of various laboratories and senior scientists were present the said stakeholders meeting.
