TBT Report : The Engineers Association of Bangladesh (EAB) hosted an engineers meetup at the capital’s Uttara on the occasion of the glorious 16th December to celebrate its second founding anniversary. The association already has 37 district committees, 10 divisional committees, 10 unit committees, and other organized committees in public and private universities as well as polytechnic institutes.

The special guests who signified the aura of the event were Jobaer Alam, Former Chairman and Associate Professor, Department of Oceanography, University of Dhaka; Professor Dr. Mohammad Moniruzzaman, Vice-chancellor (Acting), Presidency University, Bangladesh; Professor Dr. Bidyut Chandra Debnath, Expert Surgeon, BSMMU; Engineer Dewan Shamsul Kabir, PD, PKSF; Elias Kanchan, Founder and Chairman, NISCHA; Md. Lokman Hossain, Chairman, Alok Health Care Hospital Limited; Md. Emdadul Huq Sarker, DMD, Walton High-tech Industries Limited; Engineer AKM Rafiqul Islam, Deputy General Manager, Petro-Bangla. Dr. Muhammad Asaduzzaman, Chairman, Department of Linguistics, University of Dhaka inaugurated the event while the event was presided over by Engineer Md. Mizanur Rahman, President, Board of Directors, EAB. Dignitaries from universities and established companies were also be present in the event.

Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaq was invited to grace the event as a chief guest. Due to unavoidable circumstances, he couldn’t join the event.­
