A long time ago, the Aryans of Central Asia did not come to India. The ups and downs of society have not yet been introduced. Exaggeration of caste-religion or war between kings etc. has not yet had any effect on human society. Among the civilizations that developed in different parts of India at that time, the Mohenjodaro and Harappan civilizations have become famous all over the world. It is believed that at that time India had a matriarchal system. Society-world-state was dominated by women everywhere. They married as many men as they wished and tortured their husbands ruthlessly when they were in a bad mood; Killed in certain cases.

They did not have to answer to anyone or be reprimanded for doing so. Rather, its influence, prestige, power and splendor depended on the power of women to oppress men. Many books have been written in the country and abroad about the mentioned story of the women’s era. One of these books is very popular in Pak India. The name of the book is ‘Volga to Ganga’. When a collection of twenty short stories written by Rahul Sankrityayan was published under the title ‘Volga to Ganga’, a storm of controversy arose not only in India but all over the world. Although the criticism of Rahul started in Dashmukhe, no one could question the veracity of the content mentioned in his book.

As a result, even though the stories in this book are stories, the history of those stories has gained a lot of historical status. I was inspired by the book ‘Volga to Ganga’ to write the story of today’s heroine Andrila and the Khasi bahini. What we know today as the Indian state of Bihar was once called Laluadaru. Like other parts of India, the dominance of matriarchal society was strong here. But Laluadaru was different from other areas for some features. When the panchayat system was in place all over India and women were democratically the head of the panchayat, a formidable woman appeared in Laluadaru; Whose name is Andrila. She was very cleverly appointed as the head of the panchayat in the traditional democratic manner. According to the custom of the time, only women could exercise their voting right in panchayat elections. In the old days, men did not do any important work except entertaining women, carrying burdens and doing household chores. Far from voting, they could not even come close to any discussion on voting.

The time I am talking about, I can’t say how many thousands of years ago it happened. However, it can be said with certainty that the event predates the Mahabharata era. Because the state system was established in India a few hundred years before the battle of Mahabharata and men were dominant in governance. How women came out of domination a few hundred years before the introduction of war, animal hunting, seafaring, and foreign trade; You can guess from the story of Laluadaru’s Andrila that men established leadership and authority in all fields. When Andrila was elected socialite, she could not stand still like other leaders. Because of her sister Chandrila’s amazing beauty and the attraction of men around her, Andrila’s mind was always burning with jealousy. As a result, he wanted to remove Chandrila at any cost and killed Chandrila in one night. The incident caused great unrest in the society. The women of the Aindrila tribe revolted and other panchayats in the vicinity also demanded Aindrila’s trial. In this situation, Indrila was forced to take shelter in the forest with her hundreds of husbands, children and male servants.

From the jungle, the militant traits became evident in Andrila. Seeing the sexuality of the animals, the methods of hunting, and the cruelty, all the strange plans began to take root in him. He started brainwashing his gang members like animals to rob others of their lives and property and rape women. Her loyal men have not yet learned to imagine having sex against a woman’s will or looking at her against her will. On the other hand, the theft of other people’s property, theft, robbery, etc. have not yet been introduced in human society. Neither men nor women have ever learned to think that way; But at the instigation of Andrila, when the men of her party, imitating militant beasts, begin to raid the locality in the dark of night, the whole Laluadaru region is bewildered.

Andrila taught to rape the men in her group. And the news of the brutal joy of rape is very cleverly conveyed to the ears of the men in the locality. As a result, greedy and rapist men left the locality in groups and came to the forest to show their loyalty to Andrila. As a result, in a very short period of time, Andrila formed a huge force of rapists and established dominion over the entire locality and came out of the jungle to spread militant domination over the people. She first occupied his own panchayat and gradually established a kingdom of rapists in the whole of Laluadaru. As a result, thousands of women leaders involved in hundreds of panchayats lost their power and became the pleasure companions or maids of the rapists, and Andrila was inaugurated as the only empress in the whole country. Andriella’s biggest problem in the new empire was that it became impossible to establish justice, good governance and social unity like the old panchayat system. The whole Laluadaru region became a kingdom of armed robbers and rapists.

They enslaved ordinary men and women and by their brutal behavior and lust made the whole region more dangerous than the jungle. Ordinary people lost their wealth, lost their dignity and lost their freedom of speech and became a dumb, emotionless nation. Being raped, tortured, and brutally killed became so commonplace that no animal could utter a word to utter the word ‘uh’ in the realm of Andrilla, seeing no cruelty, no murder, no rape or robbery. Moreover, the situation reached such a stage that the competition for applauding, cheering and composing poems began after seeing the evil deeds of the Andrila forces. At this point, Andrila began to feel quite self-satisfied at first. But his happiness did not last long. Because the robbers and rapists started a fierce fight among themselves over the distribution of the spoils and the luxury of enjoyment. The biggest problem is with the rapist forces. The robbers were only busy with wealth. But the rapists would start a conflict with everything including women and wealth. At this point, a strange idea came to Andrila’s head which was probably the first one in India.

She surveyed his intelligence and compiled a list of the most powerful rapists, all of whom in one night became eunuchs, historically known as ‘Khoja’. Andrila appointed ‘Khashis’ to important positions in her palace and kingdom and made the most talented Khasi the head of her bodyguard team. But in the cruel irony of fate, Indrila was killed in one night by that eunuch bodyguard. We do not know what happened to the state of Laluadaru after the death of Andrila. Archaeologists in the state of Bihar will be able to tell whether the ancient female-dominated panchayat system was introduced there or whether the people of the entire region became intoxicated with each other and created graves for the entire ethnic group. But at a time a few thousand years ago in a state next to ours, a woman and her associates wrote that history of inhumanity. How much do we keep abreast of what is happening in the world in 2021, following the path that has been shown not only in India but in the whole world for the barbarism-cruelty-cruelty and the way to make the country a jungle?

We read the stories of ignorance of the past in Andrila-Genghis-Halaku or Ayam. I shouted at the meetings, committees and seminars about the brutality of medieval politics. I tell the story of the cruelty of pirates like Portuguese, Dutch, Mugs etc. and describe the present age as the footsteps of civilization. We compose epics about the cries of women captives in the harems of various kings and emperors and describe the current era as the golden field of women’s liberation. We compose songs by drawing the characters of crazy kings like Halla Raja, Heerak Raja etc. – we make movies, scare children by writing story books and entertain adults. But if we open the door of conscience and observe the present, the history of past evil deeds may fade in many cases and in some cases the past may want to commit suicide out of shame for the present. If we travel from one end of the earth to the other in the chariot of time, we will see how the Andrila’s psychics and sons in the story have become so adept at turning localities into jungles in Africa or the Amazon. On the other hand, both our poetic genius and the ink of the pen have run out to describe the stage at which the descendants of the ‘Khasi’ of Andrila have reached the majority and how they are erupting with leaps and bounds. However, we are riding on the reverse chariot of time and dreaming of success and development and gradually moving back from the locality to a destination that may create a huge workplace for future historians-archaeologists, storytellers, poets and painters.
