National team’s committee to hold emergency meeting on Friday

DHAKA,  – The national team’s committee of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will hold an emergency meeting on Friday (Aug 13.) to finalize the national football team’s engagements in the upcoming FIFA windows.

The meeting will be held over digital platform at 4pm to be presided over by national team’s committee’s chairman and BFF vice president Kazi Nabil Ahmed.

Bangladesh will play friendly match in the FIFA window in September however the BFF has not yet confirmed the opponent whether the game would be played at home or abroad.

BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag talking to the pressmen today said there would be a national team’s committee emergency meeting on Friday afternoon. Everything of the national team’s engagements of the FIFA windows will be finalized in that meeting.

Replying to a question, Shohag informed that national football team’s head coach Jamie Day will return to Dhaka on Friday (Aug 13). After returning to Dhaka, he would watch the rest of the ongoing league matches and would pick up the players for the national team.

The BFF general secretary said Friday’s meeting will not only discuss the national team’s FIFA window match in September, but also the SAFF Championship in October and the November window.
