A friendly football match with the slogan “Say no to drugs” will take place at Sheikh Russel Mini Stadium, Jaldhaka upazila of Nilphamari district on 22 October. National English daily ‘The Bangladesh Today’ is organizing the friendly match which will be featured a spirited competition between Dr. Jobaer Alam Football Academy and Barrister Sumon Football Academy.

To ensure the seamless of the match, a discussion meeting was convened among the former Chairman and Associate Professor of the Department of Oceanography, University of Dhaka and Acting Editor and Publisher of “The Bangladesh Today” Dr. Jobaer Alam, Deputy Commissioner of Nilphamari district Pankaj Ghosh, and Police Superintendent of the district MD Golam Sobur, PPM.  Other dignitaries and political personalities of the district were present at that time.

During the meeting, heartfelt gratitude was extended to Dr. Jobaer Alam by the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police for his initiative in organizing such an awareness-based match.
